Follow for great content on recreational flying.

Aviation is more than business jets and airline trips.

Since the Wright Brothers' first flights, flying has been about exploring and having fun.  Come with me as I explore the recreational side of aviation - chasing amazing sunsets, cool planes, the perfect omelette/burger, or enjoying a cold beer by a fire while camping with other pilots and friends.

Flying a 1928 Ford AT-5 Trimotor

Being at the right place at the right time allowed me to get some right seat time in one of my childhood favorite aircraft (and still one for that matter) - the "Tin Goose".  I had flown into Lebanon, TN on the Friday for lunch with a client and saw the plane there.  I flew back down there the following morning to get signed up (and pay for) a ride for me and my son.  While signing up, the opportunity to buy the co-pilots seat for the flight came up, I jumped on it!
